Birthday Celebration
My 23rd birthday was last Thursday, but I celebrated on Saturday night with all of my friends. I first stopped at Blow Dry Bar by Kimberly in North Scottsdale to get my hair and makeup done! This place is the absolute cutest salon. It has a ‘Parisian chic’ feel, and all of the girls were so great. They had an awesome style book with all of the most popular hairstyles…some even from my favorite bloggers like Cara Loren and Amber Fillerup. I got my hair blown out and styled by Brittany and makeup done by Morgan! They knew exactly what I wanted from my description, and executed the styles so well!
My friends and I started the night by indulging in happy hour at Geisha a GoGo in old town Scottsdale. Their happy hour prices are amazing and they have some great quality sushi (I’m Hawaiian, so that’s saying something!) Then we went across the street to a bar to grab a few drinks and play some pool. Later in the night, we headed over to Top Golf to hit some balls and get some more drinks and munchies! This place is seriously my favorite hangout. It’s open during the day and all night until 2am and it’s a totally different atmosphere at night. They have a DJ, full restaurant and bar, and a rooftop patio where you can enjoy the open sky and great weather! The range is all lit up and there’s a gorgeous view of the Talking Stick Resort and McDowell Mountains. It’s honestly the best venue for really anything…it’s perfect for a party because there’s a fun activity for everyone to do to keep occupied, and you can still converse with people without having to yell over unnecessarily loud music. It’s also great for a casual daytime date!
