Our Kitchen Renovation Reveal: Before & After
We didn’t anticipate finishing our kitchen this early but we were SO over renovating and just wanted to get it DONE! See below for before and after photos and all the deets!
Before:
Dark, dingy, and bleh! Don’t get me wrong, the kitchen was nice to begin with! A big selling feature of the house was the cabinets because they are such high quality and have a bunch of custom features.
After:
Along with new flooring and painting the cabinets, we removed that random ceiling fan that was in the middle of the room. We kept the pot rack (Danny’s decision because it reminds him of the one he grew up with, but now I love it!). We switched out the stainless steel backsplash and replaced it with white subway, and updated the hardware!
See below for all the details and sources!

Details:
Cabinet Paint: Simply White by Ben Moore
We got these professionally painted – make sure a painter uses a special formula for cabinet paint so that it’s durable and lasts for the wear of kitchen cabinets.
Counters:
These are the counters that came with our house but it’s a dark brown/black granite.
Backsplash: 3×6 white subway tile
We got ours from Floor & Decor for .15c/piece!
