The Best Drugstore Beauty Buys Under $15

As much as we want a makeup case full of YSL, Dior, Chanel and NARS, most of us can’t have that! But there are products out there that are of almost the same quality as the high-end, but for a fraction of the cost. I’ve put together a list of my absolute favorite makeup and beauty products from the drugstore that will get you looking fab without putting you in debt.best drugstore beauty makeup makeup products foundation mascara eyeliner concealer powder

1. Foundation

L’Oreal Paris True Match Foundation $7

This foundation has about everything that I look for in an expensive foundation – long wearing, great color, matte, and SPF. I love this liquid foundation because it gives you a dewey glow without looking oily. It’s also sheer enough to let your skin breathe and doesn’t clog your pores (nothing against MAC, but that stuff is so thick it makes me break out like crazy!) I like the fact that it’s a little more sheer because I can slap on a single layer when I’m just out running errands, or I can add another layer or two for more coverage.

2. Powder

Rimmel Stay Matte pressed translucent powder $10

I wear translucent powder over my foundation to set and mattify my face, and this one has been my favorite drugstore find so far! It’s pretty full coverage and lasts a while – I usually don’t have to touch up unless it’s super hot out.

3. Lipstick

NYX Matte lipstick $6

If you haven’t tried NYX lipstick before, you are seriously missing out. It’s like MAC pigment, except lasts 10 times longer and is a third of the price. My favorite colors are Indie Flick, Shocking Pink, and and Perfect Red.

4. Highlighting and Contouring

e.l.f. Studio bronzer $3

I haven’t found a cream contouring kit that I like, but this powder one is pretty good. It has all the colors you need and then some! I use the lighter of the two browns for an all-over face bronzer, and the pinky tone for a natural-looking blush.

5. Blush

NYX Powder blush $5

This one is the most like NARS orgasm, which is my all-time fave. The color is bright and pigmented just like NARS, and it lasts forever! NYX is seriously the dirty little secret of high quality pigments for cheap.

6. Nails

Sally Hansen 18k gold cuticle eraser $7

This is actually infused with gold particles, and softens and erases those nasty cuticles like a Magic eraser! When I don’t have time to get a manicure, I just whip this bad boy out and slap a couple coats of polish on – it’s not as good as a mani, but it gets the job done when I feel like I’m looking homeless.

7. Brushes

Ecotools brush set $12

These don’t leave hairs everywhere and put on makeup pretty darn well – I use these as my travel brushes a lot. Plus, they’re eco friendly and fricken cheap!

8. Concealer

IMAN Second To None foundation stick $13

SUPER full coverage and very easily spreadable. It’s really similar to Bobbi Brown’s foundation stick, which I also use.

9. Deodorant

Dove Dry Spray anti perspirant $5

I’m obsessed with this – it goes on dry and doesn’t leave white marks! Plus its like a body spray – I keep this in my gym bag at all times.

10. Eyeliner

Maybelline Line Stiletto liquid eyeliner $6

This is the best liquid eyeliner I’ve found across the board – it dries immediately and doesn’t flake off! The tip is super thin, so I start with a thin layer first and keep adding depending on the look I’m going for that day.

11. Bronzer

Milani bronzer XL All Over glow $9

I love this bronzer because one side is matte and one is shimmer. I like to do a quick sweep of my face with the matte side, and use the shimmer side on my cheeks.

12. Brows

Maybelline Eyestudio Brow Sculpting Mascara $7

I usually use powder for my brows, but I also have a gel brow sculptor for when I need to do my makeup super fast. This one has been named the best by tons of celebrity makeup artists, so I tried it out and have loved it!

13. Eyeshadow

L’Oreal Paris HIP eyeshadow $6

I love this eyeshadow because it’s super pigmented, but spreads easily. They also have a TON of color options to choose from!

14. False Lashes

Ardell Invisibands lashes $5

I usually use MAC #10 falsies, but they get so expensive to wear on the reg so I found these that are almost exactly the same, but half the price!

15. Mascara

CoverGirl LashBlast mascara $7

I have used this mascara since it came out when I was in high school. Honestly, I’ve tried almost every other drugstore mascara out there but nothing has beat this one.
